About Adam

Adam was admitted as a solicitor in 1992.
He oversees all aspects of work carried out by the firm.

Areas of expertise

Adams particular interest is in the area of the practice relating to businesses and land.

He has acted in the sale of businesses for a number of years, for instance in the sale of a multisite caravan retailer, an upmarket hotel in the Lake District and the purchase of an Estate Agency operating from more than one site. He has recently been retained to act in the sale of a multi-million pound manufacturing business.

In addition to this, he acts for many landowners and farmers in the acquisition and sale of property and the planning of their estates.
On occasions, his clients find themselves in disputes with others. He recently spearheaded claims for 22 Claimants for negligence against two firms of solicitors.

Adam has also represented his clients in various Courts regarding land and businesses. This has included claims for breach of covenants of a lease prohibiting competition; appearing himself before the Appellant Court of the Property Tribunal on the deciding case relating to Boundary Agreements.

In connection with advising clients regarding their estate, he has acted as executor in a multi-million pound estate involving Intellectual Property, a farm on the continent and a significant art collection.
This experience allows Adam to provide a full service for his clients.
